Michael Forbes is a tuba player and composer.
Several female students have alleged sexual misconduct by Forbes at Illinois State University. One woman brought a Title IX case against ISU, which claimed no jurisdiction because the incidents happened off campus. A related civil suit may be ongoing. Forbes left ISU to teach at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He plays in the La Crosse symphony and also plays in Sotto Voce Quartet with Demondrae Thurman.
