Robert King

Robert King is a conductor, director, and plays harpsichord and organ.

In 2007, well-known British conductor Robert King was convicted of 14 counts of historical indecent assault against five minor boys and sentenced to 3 years, 9 months. After release he continue leading The King’s Consort, which he founded in 1980. Before his imprisonment The King’s Consort recorded nearly 100 albums on the Hyperion label. The King’s Consort continues to perform and record.
