Samson McCrady is a baritone.
While a student at Roberts Wesleyan University, Samson McCrady was accused of raping two fellow students and attempting to rape a third. The university’s own internal investigation concluded that McCrady had violated its prohibitions against sexual harassment. Despite this finding, the university did not expel him. Instead, McCrady was banned from campus but was still allowed to graduate in 2016.
In 2023, the victims, along with two other women, filed a federal lawsuit against Roberts Wesleyan. The suit alleges that the university not only failed to protect them but also actively attempted to dissuade them from reporting the assaults to law enforcement.
